Co-operative Joint Venture between Northern Lights Energy & Power and Merit Energy & Power

In addition to the rate plan(s) you choose below, you will be charged:

  • A site administration fee.
  • An energy management rate (EMR) if you choose a variable rate plan or one of our Micro-gen rate plans.
  •  
    • Electricity EMR is $0.0099 payable per kWh consumed
    • Natural Gas EMR is $0.99 payable per GJ consumed
    • Site Administration Fees for Small-Scale Micro-generation sites is $13.99 per site.
    • Site Administration Fees (for sites other than the Small-Scale Micro-Generation sites) will be added at the rate of $7.99 per site per month for a single product (site) and an additional $6.99 per site per month for each additional site.

If you are switching plans within the ACE family of products, you do not need to provide all of the information on this form. Complete only the fields marked with an asterisk (*) and we will call or email you if we need more information. It’s that easy.

Security deposit may be required depending on credit score.

If you select a rate that has an expiry date, please select a new rate prior to that date. Otherwise you will be automatically moved to the variable rate once your selected rate expires.

Residential customers 

If your account has an additional responsible person, his or her name would appear directly below the primary account holder’s name on the bill. An additional responsible person is entitled to: obtain information about the account (including bill payment history and the amount currently owing), make changes to the account and make payments on the account. In addition, the additional responsible person has access to the personal information of the primary account holder and the account in general.

Commercial or organizational customers

Provide company name and accounting contact information.

If you would like to enrol more than one physical location (or service address), you can choose “Add an additional service address” as needed, or it may be easier to give us a call at 1-888-865-8750 and send us a list. 

The easiest and cheapest way for you to pay your electricity and natural gas bills is to provide us with your approval to automatically debit your amount owing from your account.
